Bendt Distilling Whiskey Bonded Single Barrel Bourbon 6 Yr 4 Mo Bottled-In-Bond!

The FIRST ever single barrel from Bendt Distilling is our honor and pleasure to bring ONLY to BondedBottleShop.Com!

This 100 proof single barrel is Bottled-In-Bond and 6 years and 4 months old. We chose this bourbon for its mouth feel and for being a beautiful representation of Texas style bourbon that lets the Dent Corn and Elbon Rye Shine.

Made entirely grain-to-glass, the grain bill includes local Denton County Yellow Dent Corn, Texas Elbon Rye, and 2-Row Malted Barley. Aged in a 53 gallon standard bourbon barrel at a 3.5 char level.

*Let the whiskey breath in the glass to let the more subtle notes come forward

Nose: A fresh honey cornbread note, light char and vanilla, a hint if floral dogwood, a slight leather and peppercorns

Palate: Classic bourbon notes of vanilla and caramel, a hint if that sweet cornbread, rye spice from the Elbon rye, subtle char notes, and the slightest hints of dark chocolate accompany a wonderful buttery mouthfeel.

Finish: A medium finish that gets longer with each sip as the palate is coated. Bright red fruit sneaks in, peppercorn and rye spice tingle mid-finish, ending with tobacco, leather and barrel char.

This is the heart of Texas style grain-to-glass bourbon and all of this at a approachable price... Homerun!!
